Blackbuck Hunting at Buck Valley Ranch
At Buck Valley Ranch, we offer year-round Trophy Blackbuck hunts. These unique animals have horns that grow throughout their lives and can exceed 24 inches, with anything over 18 inches considered a trophy.
Bucks have dark brown to black coats with white bellies and eye rings. After the spring molt, the color of non-dominant males lightens up quite a bit. Does are a light brown. Bucks usually weigh around 80 pounds, but they can reach up to 120 pounds, while does typically weigh between 60 and 70 pounds.
Originally from India, Pakistan, and Nepal, Blackbucks were introduced to Texas in 1932.

Hunting Packages
For $750, you’ll enjoy a three-day, two-night stay with a knowledgeable guide to assist you throughout your hunt. This fee ensures you have everything you need for a successful and enjoyable experience, with expert guidance and quality accommodations. The cost of the animal harvested is additional and varies based on species and animal size.
If you'd like to extend your stay, additional days with lodging can be added for $375 per day. Larger bucks often require additional hunting days for the best chance of success. We’re happy to take a call and discuss the best plan for your hunt.
